The estate
Oak, steel, and a cantilevered deck over San Ysidro Canyon. Held privately for five years and released this spring. The rooftop terrace holds a fire table and the entire coastline.
The Canyon Glass Pavilion was completed in 2017 and has been offered only privately since 2021. Its owners released it to the market this spring. The house is a long steel-and-glass volume set into the canyon wall, with a white oak interior and a 40-foot deck that cantilevers over the creek.
Every principal room faces the canyon. The kitchen is honed Calacatta marble with a separate catering kitchen behind it; the primary suite has floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides and blackout shades concealed in the ceiling. A rooftop terrace, reached by an exterior stair, holds a fire table, a summer kitchen, and a view from Rincon to Goleta.
The property is entered through a gated drive off a private road and sits well below the road. The creek runs year-round in wet winters. The house has solar power, battery storage, and a fire-hardened envelope rebuilt to current Montecito standards in 2022.
